The move enabled the French conglomerate to control the event and properly promote its internationally renowned brands such as Bvlgari, Hublot, Zenith, and Tag Heuer. Here are four watches that made an instant impact during the exclusive trade show.

Bvlgari’s Octo Finissimo Collection Got an Upgrade

Italian luxury brand BVLGARI launched several exquisite women’s timepieces in Dubai but it was the Octo Finissimo collection that grabbed the attention of watch aficionados. The series featured two models, a traditional satin-brushed steel case and bracelet with a plain black dial and an all-ceramic variant.

Zenith’s Defy21 Left Its Mark on the Convention

The Defy21 is a fantastic chronograph with a unique movement that features a 5Hz hi-beat balance for its running time and a 50Hz balance wheel for its chronograph. Zenith presented two new collaborative watches from the Defy21 collection at the watch week. The company worked in partnership with Land Rover and Carl Cox to create amazing timepieces that every collector would love to have.

Eye-Catching Vintage Reissue by TAG Heuer

TAG Heuer has established itself as one of the leading brands in the world, especially when it comes to vintage reissues. At the LVHM convection, the company presented the TAG Heuer Carrera 160 Years Limited Edition, which was undoubtedly one of the most elegant and chic watches at the event.

Hublot Watches Got New Bracelets

Hublot didn’t launch any new models or collections at the Dubai watch week. Instead, it presented the Big Bang lineup with a new set of integrated bracelets. This came as a surprise for timepiece connaisseurs, as the brand has long been known for its rubber or rubber-backed leather or textile straps. This simple change completely altered the character of the collection and gave it more gravitas.

All four watches are genuine masterpieces that will surely become flag bearers of their brands and among the most desirable timepieces ever produced by the watchmaking industry.

‘90s fashion often takes inspiration from the shows and movies that were popular during that decade, and one look at the outfits will tell you that some of them should just be left behind in that time.

Monica wore many iconic outfits throughout the entire 10 seasons of Friends. Even though Rachel is most known for having the best style, we’d have to agree that Monica was near behind her. That’s why we think they could’ve come up with a better look for Monica’s prom. Then again, Rachel’s dress isn’t made for an oil painting.

We all remember Jawbreaker, right? The ‘90s rip-off of Heathers! It was very trendy in the ’90s for its fashion. Funnily enough, today, we wouldn’t probably even dare to wear the extravagant and over-the-top clothes worn by the characters in the film.

One good example is Vyelette’s candy-colored crop top and hot pink ensemble. We can all agree that it was tacky and not fashionable at all. They could’ve done better than that.

How could one forget Vivian’s iconic one-piece from Pretty Woman? This dress is so famous that we cannot think of the movie without this dress. Its popularity made it everyone’s favorite Halloween costume even.

Still, we think the dress could’ve been better. The white and blue one-piece with the oversized pink jacket and the blonde wig didn’t do Julia Roberts’ character any justice. Fortunately though, later in the film, she blessed our eyes by making stunning fashion choices.

There is no doubt that Rachel Green was the ultimate ‘90s Fashion Icon. Everyone was obsessed with her style, and her perfect hair. So, we are guessing many of you are shocked to see her name here.

Let us explain… We agree that Rachel had no flaw when it came to fashion, but how could we also forget her infamous bridesmaids dress from the episode The One With Barry and Mindy’s Wedding? We think Chandler was right to make fun of that dress. That dress deserved it!

We all loved Chris Tucker’s performance as Ruby Rhod in The Fifth Element. We are not sure if we loved his outfit in the film, though.

In the movie, we see him in an animal print outfit. Simply put, we thought the outfit was terrible. The animal print was hideous enough, but we had to tolerate the hair thing on top of that! The overall look looked too out of place and didn’t quite go with the film’s theme.

The Craft is an essential part of the ‘90s pop culture. The style and the fashion it served were revolutionary for the youth in that decade. Still, we think the fashion quotient of the movie failed at times.

Especially when we have to talk about Nancy’s studded choker and black jacket look. This specific look did not impress us at all. Honestly, the dog-collar choker was the worst part of the outfit. Even for the ’90s, it was just too much.

Everybody loves Alabama from True Romance! We love her too, but we have questions about this particular outfit from the film though.

The turquoise bra with the butterfly print was confusing enough, but we also had to tolerate her skin-tight pink leopard trousers too. We believe Alabama’s character deserved something better than her outfit. Don’t you agree with us too?

The comedic duo Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino gave one of the most incredible comedy performances of their life in the movie Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion. The movie was really popular in the ’90s for being eccentric and equally funny.

People loved Romy and Michele’s outfits in the film for being extra extravagances. We can’t say the same, though. We thought it was a straight-up fashion disaster. That feathered dress and the chunky heels were too ugly. Sorry, not sorry!

Don’t we all love Johnny Depp? No matter what he chose to wear, we loved it. Even his dress-up in Pirates of the Caribbean is well-loved by everyone.

The number of people who dress up as Captain Jack Sparrow at Halloween parties at least indicates that it’s true. In Cry-Baby, Johnny Depp’s wasn’t our favorite. It looked like a copy of Dany’s look from Grease and we don’t like copycats!

If one thing stands out in the movie The Doom Generation, it has to be Amy’s transparent raincoat and white sunglasses. Even though it was a sight to look at Rose McGowan in that outfit, we still think the outfit didn’t do justice to fashion or the actress herself.

The pink dress with the raincoat wasn’t an apt fashion statement, in our opinion. It just looked awkward altogether. We’re open to hearing yours views on it but hey, we’re here to be critical.

Do you remember Milla Jovovich as Leeloominaï Lekatariba Lamina-Tchaï Ekbat De Sebat A.K.A “Leeloo” from The Fifth Element? We are her fans. The problem is we are not a big fan of her outfits in the film. We understand that she was superhuman and needed to be out-there.

Still, we don’t think that her outfit needed to be that wacky. That orange hair with the white tank top was just not a nice choice. Good thing Mila Jovovich is beautiful and somehow pulled it off.

Who doesn’t love the movie Fight Club right? It’s everybody’s favorite and a cult classic too. Brad Pitt is amazing in the film, and we love his character. With that being said, we don’t think his outfit choices did him any favors.

The spiked hair, the big sunglasses with the maroon shade, and the matching sleazy jacket. It just looked tacky and we think Mr. Pitt deserves better. Don’t you agree?

Muriel’s Wedding is a wonderful movie, and we all love Muriel’s quirky sense of humor in the film. Her fashion sense is equally quirky too.

We love her wedding outfit in the movie, but the outfit that didn’t sit right with us is the one right here. It was just not what we would want to see in fashion. It looked bland and didn’t suit Muriel’s style either. Besides, what’s up with the ’90s and its obsession with Leopard Prints?

We loved Drew Barrymore’s outfits as Julia in the movie The Wedding Singer, but we can’t say the same for Adam Sandler’s character.

Even though we loved him as Robbie in the film, his outfits weren’t a big hit for us. Neither was his mullet! What did the makers of the film want to prove with that hideous blue coat? Overall it’s just not something pleasant to look at. They could’ve made him wear something more stylish!

Do you remember Raoul and his eccentric style in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas? Johnny Depp was just doing what he does best – playing strange characters in the film. Even though Raoul stood out in this movie, his outfits couldn’t impress us.

See the one here as a prime example of what we mean. We are guessing one of the reasons behind the film’s failure might be this! Nobody wants to see Johnny Depp in unflattering clothes, right? We’re sure we can all agree on that.

Thelma and Louise’s style was spot-on in the film Thelma and Louise. Who could forget Susan Sarandon’s iconic look where she’s wearing a white top and has a scarf around her head? Still, there’s one look from the movie that doesn’t have our approval.

It was Geena David A.K.A Thelma’s look in the high-waisted jeans and vintage skull tee. We don’t like seeing such an elegant woman in such a shirt. Also the cut-off sleeve thing is not for us. Perhaps not anyone!

Our next pic for some of the worst outfits from the ‘90s is the red halter crop top worn by Nicole Maris in the movie Drive Me Crazy.

Why do you ask? Well, first, did you see how out of place the outfit was for a high school student? Second, it was just so random. We didn’t like it paired with the jeans either. Smart and casual mixed like that just doesn’t work. Period.

If you have watched Jawbreaker, then you know how vital those hallway walk scenes of Courtney, Julie, and Foxy are to the overall integrity of the film. Nothing can be more iconic than them!

Even though the scenes are memorable, the outfits aren’t in the same league. Who would wear those skirts and tops in school? Those were not only flashy but also significantly over the top. Even for the ‘90s, that’s too much.

Well, don’t you agree with us that we can’t make a list of ‘bad ’90s movie outfits’ and not list this in it? If you’re forgetting where this outfit is from, let us jog your memory.

This pink tutu dress is from the romantic-comedy 10 Things I Hate About You. We still can’t believe that Bianca chose to wear a tutu as her prom dress! That silk crop top with the tulle light pink skirt is not something we consider fashion forward.

We all loved Cory from Boy Meets World. Remember, how he only wore clothes from his elder brother Eric’s closet from sixth to eighth grade? What’s up with that? In the show, his oversized shirts were a headache for the audience.

They could’ve come up with better outfits for our favorite character. All they did was make him look dull. We think a cool kid like Cory would wear something more flattering. We know we sound harsh but it’s just because we love him.

Can anyone name a better fashion icon than Fran Fine from The Nanny? We’ll wait. We are sure you couldn’t come up with anyone else because she is the ultimate trailblazer of fashion of the ‘90s.

Whatever she chose to wear became an instant hit when the show aired on TV. Still, there is one outfit we wish didn’t make an appearance. That Rainbow Moschino Vest over the white top looked a bit clown-like to us.

Rose DeWitt Bukater is one-half of our beloved but tragic star-crossed lovers, and she dresses in some of the most exquisite attire. We love all the dresses she wore throughout Titanic except this particular one.

This is what she wore when she had a conversation with Jack after her frightening Jumping attempt. The dress was over-the-top with the cheek sleeves, gold embroidery and yellow color. Compared to her other outfits, this just didn’t do her justice.

Anybody who watched 90210 growing up knows that it has made some of the best style statements of the ’90s. That is why we are wondering why Monica chose to wear this Cheetah print blouse in the show.

It didn’t look good to her, and it gave a major ”rich mom energy” vibe. So we are not on board with this fashion choice. Another thing to note here is that it seems the ’90s have now finally moved on from Leopard and landed on Cheetah prints…

Who could forget that iconic dance sequence of John Travolta (Vincent) and Uma Thurman (Mia) in Pulp Fiction? It was so iconic that no one could talk about the movie without discussing the “dance in the diner” part.

That is why we have a problem with Mia’s dancing outfit in that scene. Why did they choose to make her wear that when they could select anything else? It was incredibly boring. Plus, why was her shirt so long?

Do you remember Jackie Burkhart from That ‘70s Show? She was one of the show’s main characters, and she was no less of a fashion icon. She put together unique and creative combinations that always worked well for her.

She usually dressed for the decade, emulating some of the ‘70s top looks. Still, this one look was a total let down. Who wears orange pants and a striped sweater? Those pants get a big thumbs down from us.

Next on our list of horrible fashion mistakes from the ’90s is Sabrina’s blue top with the blue skirt from Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

Why did they make Sabrina wear that hideous outfit? It’s a puzzle to us! Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina) didn’t look flattering at all. On top of that, it made her look much older than she is. She kind of looked like she was a substitute teacher. Not a good look!

Who else had to cringe so hard when they saw Sharon Stone on the screen in Casino when she was wearing that rainbow tie-dye disaster?

We know she’s stunning so it’s hard for her to ever look bad but they sure did try with this look. Her character Ginger wore over-the-top outfits a lot but usually she was super stylish. Emphasis on ‘usually.’

We all loved watching Will Smith in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He was equally funny and charming in the show. Even though we think it was a fantastic show, we can’t say the same about his character’s fashion choices.

Why did they make Mr. Smith wear such ‘punk boy’ stuff? This fluorescent fit is a good example of what we mean. While it’s hard to make such an awesome actor look bad, anything can be possible with bad clothes.

Don’t we all love Nicole Kidman and her beauty? Honestly, she would look ethereal in whatever she chose to wear. Just like she did in Practical Magic when she wore that awful green dress.

Still, we can’t ignore how bad the dress was just because Nicole looked beautiful. The fabric of the dress looked cheap. Also, it looked like they had made the dress from the leftover fabric of an old couch. The color was good for her complexion, though.

Next on the list of “bad outfits from the ’90s” is Josie’s feathered top from Never Been Kissed. Although we all agree that Drew Barrymore looked utterly cute in this movie, we can’t agree that the outfits she wore matched her acting level.

Many bad fashion choices were made in the movie, but the one that tops the list in our opinion is what you see right here. It reminds us a swan and we don’t like our favorite actresses to look like animals.

There’s no way we are not adding Kelso’s Puffer Jacket from That ’70s Show to this list. That colorful jacket was uglier than the green sweater he chose to wear beneath it.

We’re getting a combination of the ugly Christmas sweater and the grandpa look with this outfit. Neither are working for Ashton Kutcher despite his good looks. Perhaps we’re being overly critical. We’ll let you decide!

Do we wonder how a posh show like 90210 could feature so many bad outfits? We want an answer from them! Before, we talked about Monica’s Cheetah print blouse, and now it’s time for David’s golfer outfit.

There is no doubt David was one of the show’s more stylish characters and that’s why we were shocked to see him in that casual shirt and pants. He wore what most American dads would wear, and we aren’t a fan of that idea.

Didn’t we all love watching The Parent Trap growing up? Lindsay Lohan looked cute as a button playing the role of Hallie and Annie. We loved the costumes in the film and nearly everything the actress wore.

We draw the line at this formal baby blue blazer that Annie wore. Why were they trying to make her look like she was a member of a royal family? We will never know! We just feel she didn’t suit such a mature look.

Remember Dazed and Confused and its confusing fashion? We truly think the show’s name was dedicated to its costume department. Okay, we’re only kidding but we do need to talk about Jodie’s Denim shirt and pant ensemble.

The outfit was really unnecessary and lame to us. We know, we know, even Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake chose to wear something similar. We disapprove of that too. Even the ’90s rejected it, so why can’t we?

We can’t believe we have to add another lousy outfit from the movie Casino. We were just hoping that Martin Scorsese will forgive us! We do love the actual movie.

However, we can’t just help but talk about this salmon-colored flashy suit that they put poor Mr. Robert De Niro in. Such a fine actor deserves better. Perhaps if it wasn’t pink on pink it would be less painful on the eyes, right?

Before Alyson Hannigan became our favorite character and Marshall’s adorable girlfriend Lily, from HIMYM, she played Michelle in American Pie. Though, we don’t think they did her any favors making her wear that net cardigan in the film.

First of all, it looks cheap, and second of all, it seems itchy. We can only wonder how uncomfortable Alyson must have been while shooting scenes wearing it. We would not want to wear something like this. Ever!

Giving Casino a run for their money, That ’70s Show now has three bad outfits on this list. Well, what can we do? We just couldn’t resist adding the sweater vest Eric wore in the show!

Honestly, that brown sweater vest is so ugly that it doesn’t even crack ‘dad fashion. Eric’s history teacher might approve the look, but we don’t. We don’t care that it looks cozy even! It’s just horrible to look at.

The next on the list is Buffy’s neon workout clothes from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Workout clothes are supposed to make you look good, right? We know we’re sounding mean. No more jabs from us!

Actually we lied. That’s kind of our job here and that mustard top didn’t do her any favors. The leggings took things to another level of bad. On top of that, that flower print made it even more comical.

If we are making a list of horrible ’90s dresses, we would have to add Sabrina’s Halloween dress from Sabrina the Teenage Witch. We think you would agree with us too when we say that she looks like a pumpkin mascot here.

Honestly, we would like it better if the dress was either black or orange. Also that weird yellow stripe just made matters worse for us. Tell us if we’re being too harsh… We can handle it.

We heard that Will Smith came up with a clothing line with all the outfits from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. We think there was no need!

The outfits from that show were just not good, and we don’t want to wear them now. One thing we can’t seem to forget was that maroon suit jacket Will wore in an episode. It was just too loud and the colors didn’t complement each other.

Another bad outfit from the ’90s in our opinion, is Laura’s British Royal Guard inspired outfit from Family Matters. We know that back in that day you were allowed to experiment with the style a bit. Still, why take it that far?

There was no need to take inspiration from Buckingham Palace Guards. The outfit was just not stylish, and anybody who has a different opinion can fight with us. If Laura chose to wear a fluffy black hat with that, she’d finally get a job at the Palace.

Remember Aunt Becky and her orange blouse from Full House? That is one big fashion mistake Becky made in that season.

That bright pumpkin orange color was so flashy that it hurt our eyes every time we looked at it. Honestly, she looked like a traffic cone. Besides, what’s with the size too? It is so oversized that another Becky could fit in it. Simply put, we didn’t like the outfit.

We are back with another bad outfit from Casino. We just can’t help it. There’s no way we can’t include the lace disaster that Ginger wore in the film. The pajama pants with that laced crop top together made a horrible look altogether.

The colors and styles of the garments clashed with each other. We know Sharon Stone is a queen but even she can’t distract us from how this doesn’t work. We hope this is the last time we bash the movie.

We loved Brittany Murphy as Tai in Clueless. We didn’t like her fashion choices in the movie, though. After her makeover, we don’t know how they made her wear those tacky ensembles.

We especially want to mention this particular one because usually we like a preppy look but somehow this had the opposite effect. Perhaps it was because of how short the skirt was? Or maybe it was that awful cardie? We just have to say that it’s bad no matter how much we adore Brittany.

The last one on this list is once again from Clueless. Yes, we are daring to end this by adding that iconic look worn by Dionne. Let us explain before you disagree with us.

Many loved this outfit, but we didn’t. We guess we could have tolerated the plaid-on plaid look if she just didn’t choose to wear that hat. The hat ruined everything for us. We’re not even such fans of Cher’s yellow set despite how popular it is.
