Set in the early 2030s during his “presidential” campaign, each episode follows Dwayne Johnson as he goes through interviews and conversations that trigger flashbacks from three pivotal periods in his life: his childhood in Hawaii, high school years in Pennsylvania, and college football days at the University of Miami.

Young Rock made its debut in February 2021 and received positive reception, prompting the production of a holiday special and subsequent second and third seasons, which concluded in February 2023. However, despite its initial success, the third season experienced a decline in ratings compared to its predecessors. According to live + same-day Nielsen data, the show garnered an average of 1.4 million viewers and a 0.25 demo rating in the 18-49 demographic, lower than the second season’s average of 2.23 million viewers and a 0.39 rating. The first season boasted even higher ratings, averaging over 3 million viewers per episode and a 0.62 demo rating.

Viewers took to social media to express their sadness over the news, with one Twitter user lamenting the cancellation’s impact on the unresolved cliffhanger from the last season. Another former viewer admitted to stopping after the first season but expressed sadness over the show’s cancellation nonetheless. Will Cristiano Ronaldo Return to the EPL in a Man City Jersey?

EPL side Manchester City have been looking for a prolific striker ever since their Argentine record goal-scorer Sergio Aguero left the club to join F.C. Barcelona. The defending English champions were hoping to replace their legendary forward with Harry Kane but their efforts to reach a deal with London-based team Tottenham Hotspurs never came to fruition.

After Kane’s announcement that he will be remaining in London, Man City decided to activate their plan B, which caught many by surprise as they are targeting Juventus forward, and former Manchester United legend, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo’s Future Is Uncertain

Since the beginning of the summer transfer window, there have been many rumors regarding the future of the Portuguese superstar. Some media believe that Cristiano will return to his former club Real Madrid, while others are linking him with the Parisian side, PSG.

The neverending speculations forced Ronaldo to make a statement via his Instagram account in which he demanded respect from the media. The announcement was much welcomed by Juventus supporters who saw it as a sign that the striker will be staying in Serie A.

City Want to Return Ronaldo to the EPL

Things, however, are about to take a turn, as Manchester City has decided to pursue the signing of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner. Journalists in Italy recently reported that the influential soccer agent, Jorge Mendes, had arrived in Turin to meet with Juventus management and discuss the eventual departure of his clients.

It’s believed that Manchester City is offering $34 million to their Italian counterparts for the return of the Portuguese forward to the EPL. The sum is considered a bargain by many pundits and soccer aficionados.

Despite being 36 years old, Ronaldo is still one of the most skillful goalscorers in the game and a second stint in the EPL would be a piece of magnificent news for English soccer fans.
